BOB ALBANESE

Often in the center of activity and sometimes the catalyst, Bob is a high-energy force in the Austin construction industry. His career arcs from a brief stint as field superintendent to president of Constructors & Associates, Inc., all prior to his current positions as owner of AKA Builders and Albanese Consulting Services.

Through each of his incarnations, Bob carries the relationships he has built along the way – with developers, management companies, architects and designers, city officials, bankers, subcontractors, and colleagues. This connectivity bridges his dual roles as general contractor and construction manager. In turn, Bob's various functions in the construction process allow him to see a project from multiple angles, to the benefit of all involved.

A sampling of projects from 1990 to 2010: The Austonian; Frost Bank Tower; The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum; Stephen F. Austin Hotel Renovation; Seton Brackenridge Hospital renovations; San Antonio International Airport Terminal improvements; First City Center re-development ; LBJ Student Center at SWTSU in San Marcos; Omni Condominiums and the Texas State Capitol Exterior Preservation.
